Mount Hawke Youth Group formed in 1982, it's one of the UK's longest

running indoor parks, built originally to meet the needs of young people

living in rural Cornish communities. Mount Hawke started life outdoors

but developed inside in 1996 becoming the South West's largest spot.

Mount Hawke is still the largest indoor skate park in the South West,

boasting a USER footfall of over 38,000 each year and set within 4.2 acres

of land. The purpose built warehouse (24,000sq ft) is split into several

different sections containing some of the UK's highest standard of ramps.

The venue itself provides a safe hub for young people to socialise and

exercise, with opportunities to take part in many competitions/events

that are hosted each year within the Park and the expanding range of

facilities and classes now on offer on & off-site.

Of the many events hosted each year at the park, perhaps the most

unique to date is the parks recent successful bid to hold the first UK National Skate

Comp in September 2018 which will act as a qualifying route for the 2020

Tokyo Olympics (bid to be confirmed Nov 17).

"Mount Hawke has been a breeding ground for talent in extreme sports for years"
